Honor Respect 4 Veterans is happy to announce the sponsership of a lost boat plaque for Arizona Silent Service Memorial at Westley Bolin Memorial Plaza, located in front of the Arizona State Capital Complex in Phoenix, Az. H.R.4V. will be the proud sponsership of the USS Triton (SS-201), a Tambor-class submarine, was the first submarine and third ship of the United States Navy to be named for Triton,a mythological Greek god, the messenger of the sea. On 10 April 1943, Triton was reported overdue from patrol and presumed lost, one of three lost in a month. Post-war examination of Japanese records revealed on 15 March 1943, three Japanese destroyers attacked a submarine a little northwest of Triton's assigned area and subsequently observed an oil slick, debris, and items with American markings. Triton's crew consisted of 6 officers, 54 enlisted. Triton received five battle stars for World War II service. Please support this way cool memorial and help us show the men and women of the US Navy's Silent Service the Honor and Respect they deserve. Individual pavers can be purchased for this memorial at http://www.arizonasilentservicememorial.org
The mission of H.R.4V. is to give every veteran we meet honor and respect daily. Three great veterans shared their stories and told some very funny stories over breakfast at a local Jimmy's Egg. Thank you gentlemen for an absolutely awesome start of a new day. Thanks to generous donations H.R.4V. is able to serve veterans like these three heroes a huge plate of honor and a large glass of respect.
